Today, July 29, 2025, on the project‘s website: https://misteriada.ru/en / an English–language version of the romantic ballad “The Mermaid in Love“ was posted. The ballad consists of 27 chapters and is presented in the format of short 3-4 minute musical narratives, accompanied by a visual series – a video clip. The ballad was created by Vladimir Elin, a member of the Writers‘ Union of Russia, based on the fantasy story of the same name by the artist and writer Valery Pantyukhov. The translation of the ballad “The Mermaid in Love“ into English was made by us in order, firstly, to explore the possibilities of Artificial Intelligence neural networks (hereinafter AI) to transform their own poems, ballads, poems into a musical video sequence, thereby creating interesting examples of the synthesis of human creativity with the programmatic creativity of the creators of algorithms for processing such files using AI. Secondly, to promote cultural studies projects to foreign markets in the most inexpensive way possible, for the price of 1-2 cups of coffee. The authors of the works have the hope that perhaps on the deep Internet, somewhere in Russia or abroad, there will be associates and partners interested in such creativity and cultural exchange based on visual and textual landmarks posted on the site: https://misteriada.ru / musicals, rock operas, or animated films.
